Threats of violence came less than a week after insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021 seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 General Election.
Over the course of the past week and a half, we have been finding out more about what else the attackers sought to carry out including inflicting harm on members of Congress and the Vice President. The following will focus primarily on events in California in relation to the nationwide call for vigilance in the wake of threats to all U.S. Capitols.
