The CARES Foundation: A 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides grants to organizations in the greater Sacramento area that serve the needs of people with HIV/AIDS, aid in the prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission or raise social awareness to end discrimination and stigma.

Courage California: Helps California reach its potential by calling out institutional corruption and oppression, improving coordination and collaboration between progressive organizations, and demanding that our state and local representatives be both accountable to and reflective of the Californians they seek to serve.

Equality California (EQCA): Brings the voices of LGBTQ+ people and allies to institutions of power in California and across the United States, striving to create a world that is healthy, just, and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people. EQCA advances civil rights and social justice by inspiring, advocating, and mobilizing through an inclusive movement that works tirelessly on behalf of those we serve.

Gender Health Center (GHC): A Trans/PoC-led 501(C)(3) grassroots nonprofit that provides programs, trainings, and direct services that center Queer and Transgender People of Color (QTPOC).

Golden Rule Services: The mission of Golden Rule Services is to resolve health, education, employment and criminal justice disparities within People of Color communities through the provision of culturally competent programs and resources.

GSA Network of California: The California division of the GSA Network.

Lavender Library: A lending library and archive housing lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI) books and magazines, various media, and archival materials. It is an integral part of the Sacramento cultural community and it is open to the general public. The Lavender Library serves patrons in the greater Sacramento Valley and Northern California. It is a 501 (c)(3) Independent California nonprofit public-benefit corporation. It is a designated United Way recipient agency.

Outword Magazine: The long-time, proven leader in quality lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender advertising and news for Central and Northern California. With an average press run of 10,000, Outword Magazine is the area’s largest, most respected and dependable LGBT publication for Sacramento and Northern California.

PFLAG Chapters in the Sacramento Valley

Sacramento BENT LGBTQ Film Festival: Sacramento’s longest continuously running film festival.

Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus (SGMC): Strives to create a fun environment for LGBTQ+ folk and allies who enjoy making music together. The chorus has now grown to more than eighty-eight members and is focused on both musical excellence and dynamic choralography.

Sacramento LGBT Community Center: Works to create a region where LGBTQ+ people thrive. The Center supports the health and wellness of the most marginalized, advocate for equality and justice, and works to build a culturally rich LGBTQ+ community.

Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce: A regional chamber of commerce serving gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender business owners, professionals and allies in the seven-county Greater Sacramento region. Their mission is to encourage and support small businesses in the LGBT and allied communities, to foster economic prosperity in the Greater Sacramento region, and to promote diversity, and inclusion and equality for all.

Sunburst Projects: Offers medical case management, mental health services, social support services, youth programs and HIV education and prevention.

WEAVE LGBTQ Services: WEAVE is committed to addressing issues of violence in all communities. WEAVE’s services are available to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
